Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County is growing. In order to help sustain this growth, we have opened a second ReStore in our County. This store is located in Crystal River on Hwy 44, across from Manatee Lanes. Now, with two retail outlets, we are able to present more of the unique shopping experience that only we can provide. Our mix of household goods, along with furniture, appliances and buiding supplies, appeals to almost everyone. We cater to people looking for the right items to complete home improvement projects or to the person looking for the perfect treasure they never new they needed!
We are blessed with many volunteers who believe in our cause and who give of their time freely to help us make shopping in our stores a pleasant experience. There are many tasks that need to be performed daily in order for our stores to run efficiently. Please consider becoming a volunteer. Our volunteers help cashier or price items and stock shelves. Sometimes they help with pick-ups and deliveries. Our stores are well organized and we strive to be a little different than the regular "thrift store".
In order to continue to grow and help provide funding for more families, we need our communities' support. We are always in need of items to sell in both stores. We provide quick convenient pick-ups of larger items and can be in almost any area of the County daily. We provide tax deductible donation receips and a warm "thank you" to every donor. Your contributions allow items to have a new life in someone else's home and ease the burden and strain on our County landill.
All of us at both ReStores are proud to be part of Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County. Please come and visit us and let us know what you think. The goals of the Habitat ReStores are simple. With the help of God, we will maintain and support our Citrus County Habitat for Humanity affiliate build simple, decent homes for those in need. Come help make a difference.
